Born in Belin in 1910, Alexandre Vitkine is an electromechanical engineer turned ‘architectural photographic artist’. Industrial Silhouette is a series of works created in the 1960's that juxtaposes an often human form within a typically industrialised geometric landscape, in silhouette.
