Website for cult Dutch/Californian conceptual artist, photographer and filmmaker, Bas Jan Ader... who was last seen in 1975 when he took off in what would have been the smallest sailboat ever to cross the Atlantic - the Ocean Wave, was only a little over 12ft in length.
Ader's most popular work is his 1970 short film piece entitled "I'm too sad to tell you" that consists of the artist crying in front of a camera after a brief title - which is surprisingly captivating...
